Shelley Wittels – Office Manager / R.D.A.

Shelley is our Office Manager and Primary Treatment Coordinator.  You will find her roaming around the office interacting with patients and staff.  Shelley has been in d

entistry for 35 years, 19 years of experience assisting chairside and 16 years of practice management.  Shelley enjoys working closely with our patients assisting them with achieving their goal of optimum dental health and assisting patients with the sequencing of treatment, financial arrangements, and dental benefits.

She spent many hours as a child at the dentist and her curiosity led her to the dental profession.  Shelley understands dentistry from both perspectives, patient and professional, which is why she is understanding and compassionate towards her patients.  She will do whatever she can to ensure patients are informed, comfortable and confident in the excellent care provided by Dr. Day and his staff.

Stephanie Allan – Administrative Assistant

Stephanie brings over 16 years of dental administrative experience to our office, with an emphasis on patient concierge level service.  She insists on creating the most positive experience for everyone.  Stephanie finds it most rewarding to provide patients with an enjoyable experience, while also educating them on their desired treatment plans.  She enjoys cooking, reading and most of all spending time with her 2 kids.

Nikki Sahagun – Administrative Assistant

Nikki’s enthusiastic personality is contagious.  She has a warm personality and excels at helping patients feel comfortable and at ease.  She strives to make all patients’ experience’s seamless and enjoyable.  Nikki is married to Aran and a proud mother of 7 children.  She has a dog, a bearded dragon, an iguana, and a handful of gecko’s, she enjoys being outdoors,  and above all, spending time with her family.

Sarah Wood – Registered Dental Assistant

Sarah is a Board Certified Registered Dental Assistant and has been with Dr. Day for over 20 lovely years. Being from England, she brings so much charisma and is naturally caring.  Sarah is passionate about assisting and helping patients achieve their desired oral health results.  The greatest joy for Sarah is to see a patient improve his or her quality of life through the care and expertise our office provides. When she is not at work she volunteers her time at a local non-profit and loves to cook.

Angeles Burkett – Registered Dental Assistant

Angeles has been a Board Certified Registered Dental Assistant for over 25 years.  She gives her all to provide the highest quality dental care and dental education and at the same time strive to be gentle and sensitive to each and every patient. In her free time, Angeles enjoys spending time with her 3 kids and her husband.

Genelle Cho – Registered Dental Hygienist

Genelle is a Registered Dental Hygienist and graduated from West Coast University in 2009. She prides herself in being a thorough but gentle hygienist.  She enjoys her profession and is excited by new technology that can improve the periodontal health of her patients.  She provides outstanding care and communication, and takes the time to understand the unique needs of each patient.  She spends her free time with her 3 daughters and her husband Peter.

Angie Sobba – Registered Dental Hygienist

Angie graduated from University of Colorado in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dental Hygiene.  She moved to California from Oregon in 2016.  Since graduating she has practiced in both General and Periodontal offices.  Angie is a compassionate and dedicated Hygienist and her patients love her.  On the weekends you can find her outdoors with her Pug, doing yoga or surfing.

Megan Welling – Registered Dental Hygienist

Megan received her Degree in Dental Hygiene from Cerritos College in 2012.  She enjoys working in the dental field for the past 7 years. Megan’s patients describe her as gentle and efficient.  When Megan isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter doing anything outdoors and visiting her family in Utah.
